Denali maintains the following certifications and quality assurance processes:
3rd Party Microbiological Testing – The Extraordinary Step
Before finished products are released for shipment, select production run samples are subject to outside 3rd party microbiological lab* tests and approval.
GFSI – SQF Level II, Kosher, Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).
Organic Certification – select production areas (variegates, extruded doughs, and flakes)
Pareve Certification available on certain items.
All our employees are trained on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Allergen Awareness, Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), CCP’s, Food Safety and Mock Recalls.
Nightly sanitation and equipment swabbing to ensure machine and area cleanliness.
Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP)
A robust program with weekly swabbing of Zones 1-4, that are sent to a 3rd party microbiological lab* for testing.
Sensory evaluation is conducted of samples from each production shift.
Facilities are validated at regular intervals for absence of allergens, using the Neogen Alert® test kit and 3rd party lab for results. We also use safe production scheduling on select allergen-specific production areas. All products containing allergens are clearly labeled, and raw and finished goods that contain allergens are stored separately to reduce risk of cross contamination.
Soybean, coconut, peanut, and cottonseed oils used in manufacturing are highly refined, bleached, and deodorized.
