Quality & Safety

To us, quality is safety.  Denali Ingredients is committed to the highest levels of food quality and safety, and we understand the important role food safety plays in our customers’ success. To this end, we devote the time and resources needed to assure our products meet the highest standards and we are proud of our no-corners-cut approach to our work. Our customers count on us to supply them with not only with great tasting products, but with ingredients that are quality tested with every batch. Nothing leaves our plant until testing is complete so we can ensure that every ingredient we ship is among the safest our industry has to offer.

The Extraordinary Step

Before ANY finished products are released for shipment, production run samples are subject to outside 3rd party microbiological lab* tests and approval.

Certifications

SQF Level II, Kosher.

Training

All our employees are trained on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Allergen Awareness, HACCP, CCP’s, Food Safety and Mock Recalls.

Sanitation

Nightly sanitation and equipment swabbing to ensure machine and area cleanliness.

Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP)

A robust program with weekly swabbing of Zones 1-4, that are sent to a 3rd party microbiological lab* for testing.

Quality Control

Sensory reviews on all production runs for taste, texture, aroma, overall appearance.

Allergens

Facilities are validated at regular intervals for absence of allergens, using the Neogen Alert® test kit and 3rd party lab for results. We also use safe production scheduling or select allergen specific production areas. All products containing allergens are clearly labeled, and like raw and finished goods that contain allergens are store together to reduce risk of cross contamination.
